Dear Friends, Artists and Teachers,
Southern Exposure is now accepting applications from youth artists for the 2015–2016 One-on-One Mentorship Program. This highly individualized art program is free and open to all Bay Area youth.
The One-on-One Mentorship Program offers youth (ages 16-21) the opportunity to engage with an individual professional visual artist. One-on-one pairs of adult and youth artists work together weekly at SoEx for an entire school year, culminating in an exhibition in Spring 2016. This program aims to develop artistic, educational and life skills by combining the benefits of mentoring relationships with art education. This program is for intermediate to advanced youth artists.
The program meets on Monday evenings, 6:00 – 8:00 PM, October 5, 2015 through May 2016. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis through September 21, 2015.
